Brass Chemical Etching
Julid has years of metal etching experience and this includes brass chemical etching. Brass is a copper-zinc alloy that is commonly used by the defense, aerospace and electronics industries. Brass is a popular alloy used in these industries due to different combinations of properties that include its strength and hardness, color, ductility, electrical and thermal conductivity and corrosion-resistance. These characteristics make Brass an ideal material to be used in the photochemical milling process.
Brass chemica etching from Julid is most commonly used for products such as EMI/RF shields, covers, connector pins, washers and shims.
